House Pad Construction in Granbury, TX

Building a home starts with a pad. We build house pads and prepare the site so your builder or slab crew has a solid place to start.

What we do

House Pad Construction & Site Preparation

Before a slab is poured or a home goes up, the ground underneath needs to be cleared and built into a solid pad. Our house pad construction covers the full house pad site preparation, from clearing the homesite to building up the pad with skid steer equipment. We also handle concrete slab site preparation for other structures. Pad specifications usually come from your builder or engineer, and we build to them.

Building on acreage outside Granbury? We clear the site, strip it, and build up a compacted house pad or slab pad for your foundation contractor. Ground changes from lot to lot in Hood County, from shallow rock on the ridges to deeper soil in the bottoms. We look at your site before we quote, and we build to the specs your builder or engineer sets.

Questions

House Pad Construction FAQs

More answers on our FAQs page.

Do you build house pads on the rocky ground around Granbury?

Yes. A lot of higher ground in Hood County has limestone within about 20 inches of the surface, while the bottoms along creeks and the Brazos have deeper, heavier soil. Both can carry a good pad; they just need different prep. We look at the site, clear and strip it, and build a compacted pad to your builder's or engineer's specs. We don't do finish grading, so your builder takes it from there.

Can you handle more than one job on the same property?

Yes, and it's common. Clearing, a driveway, and a pad might all be part of one project. Tell us everything you have in mind, and we'll plan the work in a sensible order.

How do I get started?

Call, text, or use the estimate form with your name and phone number. If you have the property location, photos, or more details handy, send those too, but they are not required to start the conversation.

Do you provide free estimates?

Yes. We review the property and the work you have in mind, then give you a straight estimate with the scope explained before scheduling.
